Sonus Post Audio's Facilities

Sonus Post Audio has 2 main edit rooms that also serve other functions.

Edit 1 also serves as our mix room and is fully equipped for 5.1 monitoring. It is equipped with a Mac G4 with a Mix core and 2 Mix farm cards TDM ProTools system. Monitoring is via JBL LSR25P powered speakers for both 5.1 and stereo mixing with JBL 4301BE powered speakers and Roland MA8s for reference checks. All metering is done with Dorrough and Wohler units.

Video is provided to a 27inch video monitor as well as a 5.6" LCD monitor from a computerized video server and is available in either NTSC or PAL.

We use a SAC 2.2 mix controller from Radikal Technologies for film style mixing.

Edit 2 also functions as the control room for our Voice Booth for ADR, narration, voice-over and foley recording.

It is equipped with a Mac G4 with a Mix Core and 2xMix farm cards TDM ProTools system. Comparison monitoring, talkback and headphone feeds are provided by a Samson C-Control and input is provided with a Mackie Baby Hui and dBx microphone processors.

Video from the video server can be monitored on the 5.6" LCD monitor or the dual purpose 15" LCD monitor or the 13" Panasonic professional monitor(in the voice booth) in either NTSC or PAL.
